Biography

French pianist born in 2003, Julie Haismann stands out for her versatility and boundless energy in the service of her artistic projects. Graduated of the Conservatoire Supérieur de Lyon in piano with Laurent Cabasso and of the Conservatoire Supérieur de Paris in chamber music, she is now studying with Julia Mustonen Dahlkvist, in a master program at Ingesund Piano Center, Sweden. 

In February 2024, she won the Paris Regional Conservatory Concerto Competition, performing Brahms' 2nd concerto with the conservatory's orchestra conducted by Pierre-Michel Durand. She was also a finalist of the Samson François International Competition in June 2024, 2nd prize of the Cambra Románica International Chamber Music Competition in 2023 and is graduated of the Paris Regional Conservatory in piano accompaniment, music writing, analysis and fortepiano. This background has led her to develop a rich and diversified musical activity, with both solo and chamber music recitals on modern and period instruments in several countries in Europe, multi-artistic performances, collaborations with composers, writing arrangements for various ensembles and artistic direction of the Festival de l'Arcouest.
