Biography

Umberto Ruboni

Born in Genoa, Umberto Ruboni is an italian pianist.

Prize-winner of several piano Competitions, as Thalberg Competition or Milan Conservatory Prize, he enjoys a multi-faceted performing career as a soloist and chamber musician. Milan, Rome, Venice, Naples, Turin, Genoa are among the most beautiful italian cities where he has already played, often invited by prestigious musical institutions such as Società del Quartetto, Società dei Concerti in Milan or Accademia Filarmonica Romana.

His love for music of any period and style reflects on the repertoire performed with orchestras: from Mozart K415 (on an original viennese Fortepiano) to Gubajdulina “Introitus” Piano Concerto, passing through Beethoven op.15, Chopin op.11 and Skrjabin “Prometheus”.
